Scaredy Squirrel and the Killer Bees

Here are some of the Mathematical statements we made about the Super Squirrels.

We brainstormed these ways to eliminate those pesky killer bees.

We had fun deciding on which squirrel we wanted to be.  After they were dyed and named, we made a bar chart to see what statements we could make them. 

We read the book, Scaredy Squirrel and learnt about taking risks and killer bees.  These can cause problems to our learning so we need to use bug spray to keep them under control.  We thought of lots of killer bees that cause a problem in SSR so it not SILENT sustained reading at all; but we also thought to lots of ways we can use bug spray to help us stay focused on the task.  We will refer to Scaredy Squirrel to get tips to help us with our learning all through the year.
