Room 19 used safe solar viewers from the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand to look at the sun. We had to wait patiently as a cloud slowly passed in front of it, but we were rewarded with a great view. Afterwards we went back to the classroom to write poetic stories about what we had seen.
