Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution on Friday, 15 May

 b

On Friday, Room 19 was part of Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.  Everyone made a squashed sandwich using all kinds of vegetable fillings, some we had even never tried before.  We tried: beetroot, gerkin, carrot, cottage cheese, chick peas, mung beans, mustard and cress, lettuce, capsicum, vegemite and mustard pickle.  We also followed Jamie's recipe to make a minty yoghurt dip.  We ate this with carrot sticks for a brain food break after lunch.  Mrs Bear said we were like bees round a honey pot - we will have to make this again!

I liked the minty yoghurt dip because we dipped some carrots in and it tasted yum - OK
I liked how we had different things to try.  Even though we didn't like them we had to have a little try - MJ

I could see that your sandwiches were yummy.
