ANZAC Week

In ANZAC week we learned about the ANZACs and how bravely they fought at Gallipoli.  We made poppies to wear at the ANZAC service.

We learned how to stiple paint to make a background - some people painted blue sunny sky, and some an dark evening sky.

We learned about the significance of poppies as a lasting memorial to the soldiers who died in the war.  We used collage to make a field of poppies as a remembrance in Room 19.
