Making Clay Owls based on Henry Moore's bronze art work

 z

On Wednesday, we made clay owls using Henry Moore's bronze sculpture of a owl as our model.  We even made large holes for their eyes, just like his work.  We were very lucky to have plenty of parent and grandparent volunteers who helped us.
Afterwards there was lots of clearing up to do - Mia said that it was just like being at home!

The clay felt muddier than mud when it was wet - ZR
It was really hard to make the shoulders because you had to make the clay go in and down - MP
